I'm Rita Chapman, ADHD Life Coach
Supporting your life transformation
Welcome! I’m Rita Chapman, a trained and certified ADHD Life Coach, and a woman with ADHD. I coach women and men, including high school and college students, adults, and beyond, to help them transform their lives. ADHDers, both kids and adults, have varying levels of inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity. We often are disorganized, distracted, hard to motivate in some situations (but not all!), and decision-making can be hard, even the simple stuff. But it doesn’t have to be that way!
For help learning to manage your ADHD, whether or not you’ve been officially diagnosed, or just to talk to someone who gets what having ADHD is like, schedule your complimentary consultation. Find out how ADHD Life Coaching can help you!
What Is ADHD Life Coaching?
When someone says “coach”, sports usually comes to mind first. A football coach tells the team how to get better and stronger, and how to win. A Life Coach, on the other hand, doesn’t tell a client what to do! Instead, we are collaborative thinking-partners. We know our clients are creative, resourceful, and whole, not broken.
As thinking-partners, through attentive listening paired with thoughtful questioning, life coaches help clients use their own inner wisdom to identify their desires and goals, any obstacles blocking their path forward, and the steps needed to bridge the gap between them and their desired future. The life coach approach is to evoke new self-awareness in our clients, to help them find new ways to think about the changes they need to make in order to obtain their goals.

Who Is Coaching For?
Anyone who wants to change something about themselves can benefit from working with a coach. Change isn't easy, and often, we can't seem to make progress on our own. It may be pressure from someone who doesn't understand. Old beliefs and old tolerations that work against us. The outside unbiased perspective of a life coach can help us see in a new light, and even put to rest old beliefs that no longer serve us.
For Adults: ADHD tendencies for poor planning, prioritizing and decision-making can mean we procrastinate important work or school projects, then pull an all-nighter to get them done. Have you forgotten to pick up the kids from school? The meeting with the boss? Forgot to pay bills, and end up in collection? Even seemingly simple things like deciding what to cook for dinner can be frustrating! An ADHD Life Coach can help adults identify strategies to manage the aspects of their lives that feel out of control. Even better, a coach can help us use our strengths to achieve our goals.
For Students: High school and college students with ADHD can thrive in the right conditions! The key is to help them find their right strategies to meet the challenges they’re facing, so they can grow, and learn, and achieve their dreams. Oftentimes a student just needs to be listened to and heard, because they know what needs to be changed. They may not know how, or they're trying to meet someone else's unrealistic goal or standard. My work as a coach starts by listening, and asking questions.

About Rita Chapman
I became an ADHD Life Coach to help women and men with ADHD to live happier lives with more satisfaction and peace. Several years ago, my own unmanaged ADHD had led to multiple problems with completing my projects and work tasks, and I was laid off from what had been my dream job. I lost my self-confidence and I struggled, believing I might never work again.
Then I learned about Life Coaches who specialize in ADHD – a perfect fit! My coach helped me to think through and tackle the changes I desperately needed to make, starting with stronger awareness of my strengths. I saw big improvements in my strategies, and real growth in my self-efficacy, my ability to trust myself.
I now know that I can do the things I want to do, and I can trust myself to get things done. Yes, my ADHD still presents challenges. Nevertheless, I have tools to move forward. My ADHD doesn’t stop me in my tracks any more. Even better, I am happy and positive, and every aspect of my life is better!
I want this for you, too. I want you to have the tools and resources and the self-trust that you can do anything you want to! Let’s do this! It all starts with a complimentary consultation. Let’s talk!
A very smart person told me, “Nothing changes if nothing changes.” So don’t wait any longer.
